Learn the stories behind the eras powerful hits and the iconic beehive hair style that was a staple for women in the 1950s and 60s. The musical's name comes from the hairdo that was created by hairdresser Margaret Vinci Heldt to make women appear taller.
Not a traditional musical, the play is a singalong that doesn't fail to tell a crucial story without losing the political and historical context. The musical follows seven young women as they go through their lives in a socially challenging time.
